Recently, in an interview with journalists, the head of the Moscow Department of Information Support of Moscow, Artem Yermolayev, explained the new possibilities of the project based on the technology of the distributed registry. According to him, the technology will allow the government of the capital in time to monitor the dynamics of the people's will to vote on the municipal issues proposed for discussion.
In addition, the system excludes any manipulation of voting data from interested third parties, such as adding or modifying data. The functioning of the voting system on the detachment will give every citizen the opportunity to get acquainted with his results at the end of voting and compare them with the official data of the Moscow government.
According to Ermolaev, the possibility of applying technology in various administrative spheres of the capital is being actively studied. Projects are already being developed to introduce blockchain into the activities of the public procurement system and the operation of the mos.ru portal.
Recall that a little earlier the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, during his lecture before the students of the RGU, spoke about the system update of the functional and performance of the platform "Active citizen" due to the blockchain. Also, on his behalf, the authorized authorities of the capital are actively studying the possibilities of using the platform in other areas of urban management.
